This role serves as the primary point of contact, developing a deep understanding of customer needs and business objectives to deliver tailored solutions that drive mutual growth and long-term partnerships. The position requires strong collaboration across internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful execution of business plans. This role is remote within the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MI, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY. Candidates may reside in or relocate to any of these states. Relocation assistance will be provided.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the distribution transformer industry.</li> <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.</li> <li>Identify and pursue growth opportunities within strategic accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.</li> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business challenges and aligning ERMCO’s offerings accordingly.</li> <li>Prepare and present regular business reviews, forecasts, and account plans to both customers and internal leadership.</li> <li>Negotiate contracts and pricing in alignment with company guidelines and customer expectations.</li> <li>Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic account management plans.</li> <li>Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalations to maintain positive relationships.</li> <li>Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.</li> <li>Travel required to customer sites and industry events (up to 50%).</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development.</li> <li>Proven success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth.</li> <li>Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to analyze data and develop actionable account strategies.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul> <li>Knowledge of the distribution transformer industry and its products.</li> <li>Experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, or related industries.</li> <li>Advanced degree or relevant certifications in sales or account management.</li> <li>Proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment.</li></ul>Let’s Build the Future Together At ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
