The ideal candidate would reside around the Houston or Oklahoma area.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Creates an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication.</li><li>Monitor team performance and reports on metrics.</li><li>Delegates tasks and sets deadlines.</li><li>Discovers training needs and provides coaching.</li><li>Actively listens to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues/conflicts, at times with branch manager’s support. </li><li>Performs field service duties at times as a specialist and capable of performing all field service technician III tasks, in addition to:</li><li>Provide troubleshooting support to improve machinery operation with respect to plant/refinery operation.</li><li>Proficiently train customers on the operation of the equipment.   </li><li>Act as a mentor to junior technicians by providing them on the job training, assuring work is completed correctly, and provide the branch manager feedback on performance and suggestions.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Responds to customer requests and field dispatches.</li><li>Meets with customer at site to go over the nature of the service or repair.</li><li>Provide advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting to the compressor package.</li><li>Provide advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting on electrical &amp; control systems.  </li><li>Provide advanced technical support and performs advanced troubleshooting of refrigeration system. </li><li>Performs retrofitting of industrial control panels across multiple manufacturers.</li><li>Completes the routine maintenance or repair, in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019, as applicable.  </li><li>Inspects machinery to confirm proper working order.  </li><li>Provides preventative measure suggestions.  </li><li>Discusses work completed with customer.  </li><li>Submits all time sheets, expense reports (within 30 days), service tickets, start-up reports, inspection reports, and other required paperwork within the required timeframe.</li><li>Perform after-hours telephone troubleshooting support.</li><li>Proficiently train customers on the operation of the equipment.   </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required</li><li>Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field is preferred</li><li>ANSI / IIAR-6 certification required or must be able to obtain certification within 1 year.</li><li>RETA CIRO Certification is preferred</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial refrigeration</li><li>Capable of reading P&amp;IDs and electrical schematics.</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude</li><li>Knowledge of the major components pertaining to a refrigeration system.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of screw and piston type compressors and their packages.</li><li>Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes.</li><li>Advanced working knowledge of industrial control panels.</li><li>Ability to act as a trainer/mentor to junior field service technicians.</li><li>Ability to travel 90% of the time. </li></ul>The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $56.00 - $67.00 per hour.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
