This is primarily a product design role; you'll spend most of your time on UI and craft for our Terminal platform, with a generalist skillset that also flexes into marketing and brand design when needed.We move fast and have strong product opinions - what we need is someone who can bring those to life beautifully, and over time help us raise the bar on craft and design thinking across the company.You'll sit within the Product Operations team as an early designer hire, with direct cross-functional touch points across product, marketing, and engineering. This is an entry to mid-level role with real room to grow; Modo is still early and the design function is being built, which means your work will have outsized impact from day one.What you'll work on<ul><li>Terminal platform UI - feature design and new workflows</li><li>Visual assets including illustrations, charts, and components</li><li>Marketing assets and brand design - landing pages, the Modo website, events, conference stands, social</li></ul>What we're looking for<ul><li>A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual taste - clean layout, typography, composition, and modern interface design</li><li>Strong Figma skills</li><li>Primarily product-focused, with a generalist skillset and some time spent on marketing / brand design</li><li>Fast, autonomous, and able to context-switch between different types of work</li><li>A genuine eye for detail and a high personal bar for quality</li><li>Enthusiasm for learning about energy and the world of BESS, solar, and wind — no prior knowledge needed</li></ul>Nice to have<ul><li>Experience designing data-rich interfaces or dashboards</li><li>Motion design or micro-interaction experience</li></ul>Additional Details<ul><li>We're an in-person company.
