Our global Building Services team are a source of world leading expertise – and offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence. <h2>The Role</h2><ul> <li>Coordinating the overall BIM Implementation within the Mechanical/Electrical/Public Health /ELV (MEPF) Discipline team and support the multidisciplinary projects delivery. </li></ul><ul> <li>Coordinating the assigned project BIM Engineers / CAD technicians including input to Quality Assurance and Quality Control of models and drawings. </li></ul><ul> <li>Preparation of the Implementation of Building Information of Management (BIM) systems. </li></ul><ul> <li>Preparing the creation of BIM deliverables, Model Federation, Clash Detection Reports, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Design Review Procedures, Construction Sequencing (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D), Asset Management BIM Implementation (COBie), e-Specs implementation. </li></ul><ul> <li>Attending meetings with client and third parties and assisting the BIM Leads in presentation and navigation throughout the BIM Models. </li></ul><ul> <li>Able to prepare/analysis/implementation of BIM execution plans for BIM deliverables production.  </li></ul><ul> <li>Configuring and maintaining the project common data environment to enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables.  </li></ul><ul> <li>Planning project BIM deliverables and managing their effective delivery in accordance with the project plan and BIM execution plan. </li></ul><ul> <li>Coordinating BIM issues with design teams to develop and reinforce standards with the goal of refining the models and BIM deliverables. </li></ul><ul> <li>Leading in BIM implementation, standards, modelling workflow &amp; methodologies during project design lifecycle. </li></ul><ul> <li>Support quality assurance at project kick-offs and compilation of BIM best practices and lessons learned. </li></ul><ul> <li>Integrate leading edge BIM applications including scheduling, cost, asset management, and O&amp;M programs into the BIM models. </li></ul><ul> <li>Monitoring and guiding the model advancement and utilization process for future construction. </li></ul><ul> <li>Reporting to the BIM Lead and technical team in a structured manner. Minimum content to include BIM Issue Tracker, Model Audit Reports, BIM for Clash Detection results for in-progress and completed conflicts resolution, Status of Model Development.</li></ul><ul> <li>Assist with the upskilling of existing CAD/BIM, engineering &amp; project management staff. </li></ul><ul> <li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated software functionality issues. </li></ul><ul> <li>Support interoperability of BIM authoring and coordination tools with the engineering discipline design, analysis tools. Has experience in training and mentoring other peoples in BIM.  </li></ul><ul> <li>Has experience in automation, BIM, and Revit API development in different domains. </li></ul><h2>The Skills</h2>Bachelor's degree in a relevant Mechanical/Electrical with proven track record of successfully undertaken BIM responsibilities within CSA &amp; MEPF design delivery team with a background in modeling, data management and knowledge of best practices in BIM. Proven ability and leadership skills to lead, monitor and support a team of BIM Technicians and BIM Modelers as well as supporting MEPF &amp; CSA design team members already in use of the BIM authoring solutions.   In addition, you will need: <ul> <li>Minimum of 10 years broad experience in design and BIM management on large scale projects. (inclusive but not limited to BIM modeling, Coordination, collaboration, data management, Quality Assurance and Control) on large scale multi-disciplinary projects within the Middle East region.  </li></ul><ul> <li>Experience of minimum 5 years in consultancy background with Data Centre experience is an added advantage.  </li></ul><ul> <li>Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM authoring tools. </li></ul><ul> <li>Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Navisworks Manage. </li></ul><ul> <li>Mandatory proficiency on BIM360 Environment. </li></ul><ul> <li>Proficiency on BIMTrack platform would be considered as an added value. </li></ul><ul> <li>Proficiency on Dynamo or Grasshopper scripting tools and Power BI would be an added value. </li></ul><ul> <li>Preferred candidates should demonstrate Proficiency on Model Review solutions and good command/knowledge of MEPF design analysis tools. </li></ul><ul> <li>Knowledge of BS 8536, PAS 1192, ISO 19650. </li></ul><ul> <li>Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery and 4D to 7D deliverables to LOD 350. </li></ul><ul> <li>Proficiency on MS SharePoint and ACONEX platforms would be an added value. </li></ul><ul> <li>Experience working within multi-national working environment would be beneficial. </li></ul><ul> <li>Excellent English communication and presentation skills. </li></ul><ul> <li>Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems. </li></ul><ul> <li>High level of creativity and forward thinking with analytical mindset. </li></ul><ul> <li>High Sense of Quality driven deliverables </li></ul> Job Description   Your career at Cundall  We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
