Based at our production location in Colmar, this role combines strategic business development, global sales leadership, and active collaboration with operational teams to drive profitable growth and customer success worldwide.We are looking for a leader who combines commercial acumen, market understanding, and people leadership with a hands-on approach, capable of developing new business opportunities while working closely with customers, regional sales organizations, and cross-functional teams.<ul><li>Lead global commercial performance: Own and drive Evolon's commercial strategy and performance, with responsibility for profitable sales growth and results while ensuring strong commercial execution across markets.</li><li>Drive growth and business development: Identify attractive markets, applications, customers, distribution channels, and new business models; support international expansion, particularly in growth regions, and translate market opportunities into focused commercial initiatives and sustainable results.</li><li>Build alignment across a global matrix organization: Lead and develop an international commercial network across regions, working closely with regional Heads of Sales, sales managers, customer service, R&amp;D and application engineering to foster collaboration, accountability, and customer focus, including in teams outside of direct reporting lines. Leading the development and implementation of Evolon's Global Strategy and Operational Planning.</li><li>Strengthen customer engagement and commercial execution: Support key customer relationships, business negotiations, customer acquisition, pricing strategy, forecasting, and sales excellence activities while actively helping teams convert opportunities into profitable business.</li><li>Connect commercial priorities with operational realities: Act as a key member of the Colmar leadership team and collaborate closely with production, supply chain, R&amp;D, quality, marketing, controlling, and international partners to align customer needs, product development, operational capabilities, and business priorities.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Degree in business, engineering, technical studies, or a comparable field; a strong combination of commercial and technical understanding is essential.</li><li>Proven international sales leadership experience in technical products, ideally within technical textiles, advanced materials, nonwovens, industrial solutions, or a comparable B2B environment, with a track record of delivering profitable growth.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and influence international matrix organizations, build strong partnerships across functions and regions, and achieve results through collaboration rather than direct authority alone.</li><li>Strong commercial, analytical, and execution skills, including market development, business planning, pricing, forecasting, and the successful launch of new products, applications, or business opportunities.</li><li>Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and pragmatic leadership style with strong customer orientation, sound business judgment, and willingness to engage in both strategic and day-to-day operational topics; fluent English and French required, German is an advantage.</li></ul>‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
