For the Business Line Chemical &amp; Pharma, we are seeking a new international Area Sales Manager to join our team handling Small Scale Spray Dryers.Responsibilities / TasksYou will pursue sales leads in close collaboration with our global market companies helping customers finding the right drying solution. This involves process and plant specification, product test work, cost and sales price setting, preparation of quotations as well as final contract negotiations with customers. You will be part of a global sales support team also covering <a href="https://www.gea.com/assets/170518/">Chemical drying</a> as well as <a href="https://www.gea.com/en/products/dryers-particle-processing/spray-dryers/pharma-sd-spray-dryer/">Pharmaceutical Spray Drying</a>. You will be supported by an experienced team of internal experts in technology centers, application development and project execution. More specifically, you will:<ul><li>Manage sales pipelines and actively participate in customer visits.</li><li>Support customers transforming their requirements into drying solutions.</li><li>Calculate prices, write quotations, and follow up.</li><li>Present the solution(s) and advantages.</li><li>Conduct commercial and technical contract negotiations.</li><li>Participate in tests of potential solutions for your customers at our test facility.</li><li>Conduct market research and represent GEA in international exhibitions and conferences</li></ul>GEA offers a well-functioning and contemporary working environment where you will work closely with customers and internal experts. We call it customer centricity.Furthermore, we imagine that you:<ul><li>Hold a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, and you have solid work experience within the field.</li><li>Are familiar with production process and equipment applied in the Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical industry and can translate this into attractive plant design and quotation </li><li>Have a successful track record within technical project sales and possess the necessary cross-cultural understanding and language skills to plan and carry out complex sales process internationally.
