This role will provide pipefitting and fabrication services for specialized equipment in the maintenance, repair, and installation of piping systems.   Detailed Description:<ul><li>Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications for installations.</li><li>Installs and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures.</li><li>Determines water supply networks and draining systems.</li><li>Measures, cuts, threads and bends pipe to required angles.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance.</li><li>Review jobs prior to work assignments.</li><li>Build estimates for work to be completed.</li><li>Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.</li><li>Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipes.</li><li>Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.</li><li>Tests completed work and make necessary adjustments.</li><li>Makes periodic inspections of systems for safe and efficient operation</li><li>Must be able to maintain work logs.</li><li>Ability to use various power and hand tools efficiently.</li><li>Maintains storage areas.</li><li>May supervise others on major installations and job repairs.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul> Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
