As a Customer Service Operator (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract), you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring a seamless end-to-end order management experience. Working closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams, you will ensure customers receive accurate information, timely deliveries, and high-quality service while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.WHAT YOU WILL DO<ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for customers, managing inquiries related to orders, deliveries, product availability, inventory, and backorders.</li><li>Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Planning, Transport, Warehouse, and Sales teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.</li><li>Maintain accurate customer and order data within ERP systems.</li><li>Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers and stakeholders.</li><li>Handle customer complaints, returns, and issue resolution in compliance with company procedures.</li><li>Prepare and analyze reports to support service performance monitoring and KPI tracking.</li><li>Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Transport Management, and Warehouse Operations.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.</li></ul>ABOUT YOU<ul><li>Previous experience in Customer Service, Order Management, Supply Chain, or a similar customer-facing role.</li><li>Strong customer-centric mindset with a professional and solution-oriented approach.</li><li>Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP SD, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or similar platforms.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.</li><li>Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.</li><li>Fluent Italian and good English language skills.</li><li>Knowledge of an additional European language is considered a plus.</li></ul>WHAT WE OFFERWe offer a gross annual salary range of €28.400 – €35.500, level range E-C according to “Gomma Plastica Industria” Italian CLA, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:✔ Annual Bonus Plan✔ Hybrid working flexibility according to company needs✔ Opportunity to join a leading international industrial group✔ Exposure to a dynamic and collaborative Supply Chain environment✔ Professional development and continuous learning opportunities✔ Collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization✔ Inclusive and supportive working environment✔ Opportunity to contribute directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence✔ Competitive compensation and benefits packageThe pay range above is a general guideline based on the primary location of this job only and not a guarantee of total compensation.
