You will translate Hitachi Vantara’s global business objectives into actionable, day-to-day operational structures, ensuring our team is equipped to connect enterprises with the data solutions they need.Role Dynamics: Strategy Meets ExecutionYour strategic focus requires you to act as a thought leader within the organization, defining how our inside sales division aligns with long-term revenue goals. You will design the go-to-market architecture, optimize territory design, and pioneer new sales methodologies tailored to complex data environments.Simultaneously, you will maintain a relentless focus on day-to-day operational execution. This means rolling up your sleeves to build standard operating procedures, monitor daily pipelines, run high-energy stand-ups, and directly coach reps on the floor to turn strategic vision into daily performance.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Strategic Thought Leadership<ul><li>Align inside sales initiatives directly with Hitachi Vantara’s broader enterprise data solution roadmap.</li><li>Collaborate with executive leadership to forecast long-term revenue and adjust strategies based on market shifts.</li><li>Serve as the internal voice for inside sales, driving cross-functional synergy with Marketing, Channel Partners, and Field Sales.</li></ul></li><li>Operational Architecture &amp; Day-to-Day Management<ul><li>Build, standardize, and scale the operational workflows, dialer cadences, and lead-scoring mechanisms.</li><li>Manage the daily tactical cadence of the team, tracking real-time KPIs, call volumes, and conversion rates.</li><li>Select, integrate, and optimize the sales tech stack (CRM, conversational AI tools, and sales engagement platforms).</li></ul></li><li>Talent Cultivation &amp; Coaching<ul><li>Design comprehensive onboarding frameworks to ramp new inside sales reps quickly on complex data architectures.</li><li>Provide hands-on, daily coaching, pipeline reviews, and continuous professional development.</li><li>Establish a culture of high accountability, data-driven execution, and collaborative success.</li></ul></li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Experience: 7+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of building or restructuring inside sales organizations within the tech, SaaS, or data management sectors.</li><li>Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to act as a thought leader, creating organizational structures that successfully meet high-level corporate goals.</li><li>Operational Grip: Deep, practical expertise in managing day-to-day sales metrics, CRM infrastructure (Salesforce), and sales enablement tools.</li><li>Data Literacy: Exceptional ability to analyze sales metrics, spot bottlenecks, and use data to optimize team workflows</li></ul>As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $170K to $200k. Expected on-target earnings: $250K to $275K.The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
