This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly through a wide range of maintenance and support tasks.On-the-job training is provided, and no prior transit experience is required. This is in person at our Tulare locationWhat You'll Do:<ul><li>Upkeep, sanitize, and detail buses and support vehicles to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for riders and staff.</li><li>Perform general building and grounds upkeep, including custodial tasks and minor repairs, ensuring facilities are clean, orderly, and operating safely.</li><li>Support the operations team with miscellaneous responsibilities as they arise, including moving equipment, organizing workspaces, and assisting with special projects.</li><li>Additional duties will be discussed during the interview and may evolve based on operational needs.</li></ul>Who You Are:<ul><li>Hold a valid driver’s license.</li><li>Dynamic; willing to wear multiple hats and work on projects of all types.</li><li>An action-oriented executor: you take initiative to solve problems and get the job done.</li><li>Successful completion of a drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check is mandatory for employment.</li><li>Able to pass a pre-employment physical.</li><li>Pass a drug screening and background check: no felonies, clean MVR, no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions, and no more than 2 speeding tickets.</li><li>At least 21 years old.</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.</li><li>Salary: Starting at $20.88/hour </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.</li></ul>There has never been a more exciting time to be on the cutting edge of public mobility.
