Position Summary: Mold Maintenance Techs are responsible for maintaining molds used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures molds are operating efficiently, producing quality parts and minimizing production downtime.   Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Inspect fiberglass molds for cracks, surface defects, wear, and damage</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Perform repairs using resins, fiberglass mat, and tooling gel materials</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Be able to wear a respirator and follow all safety procedures</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Grind and sand mold repairs to meet required specifications</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Apply mold release agents as needed</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Conduct preventative maintenance on molds, prep molds for gelcoat, replace gaskets and seals</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Clean molds and remove buildup and residue </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and repair equipment safely and effectively</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Document and report repair work and maintenance activities</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Maintain inventory of repair materials and supplies</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support production schedules by completing repairs in a timely manner</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Adheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Other duties as assigned </li></ul>Education and Experience Required:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution</li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Effective written and verbal communication skills </li></ul><ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong organizational skills &amp; Mathematical skills</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety Requirements</li></ul>Physical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:<ul><li>Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment</li><li>Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Much be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually </li></ul> </div>
