Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Electrical Technician 2 based in Baltimore, MD.You’ll perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Aggreko's electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related systems. This role supports both field and service center operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and customer expectations.Power without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.What you'll do as an Electrical Technician 2<ul><li>Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and documents this as directed supervisor.</li><li>Set up and operate equipment as directed both in-house and at customer locations.</li><li>Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately which may include data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed, equipment and procedural as required (i.e. expense reports, training records, etc.).</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations and handle repairs.</li><li>Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.</li><li>Test, maintain, and repair BESS products including battery cells, modules, controls, and related ancillary systems (fire suppressant, HVAC, etc.).  Set up, commission, operate equipment at customer sites.</li></ul>You are:<ul><li>Technical aptitude; knowledge in Generators, Industrial HVAC equipment, Air Compressors, Electrical Distribution, Power Generation, Load banks, and Battery Energy Storage Systems.</li><li>Ability and drive to grow, personally and professionally; desire to be a good team player in a growing and aggressive company</li><li>Ability to do both physical work, think through and resolve technical problems; will to get hands dirty, sweat, and interact with internal and external customs to deliver solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements</li><li>Experience with BESS equipment including battery cells, modules, racks, management systems / controls, power conversion related technology &amp; equipment.</li><li>Associate degree / diploma in Applied Science preferred</li></ul>Here's what you'll get: <ul><li>Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends</li><li>Annual bonus program</li><li>No premium cost medical plan option available</li><li>Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available</li><li>Safety-focused culture working on brand new technology.</li></ul>Other essential job requirements  <ul><li>Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts</li><li>Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices</li><li>Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level</li><li>Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders</li><li>Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat</li></ul>Our people are can-do, positive, resilient, and persistent.
