And that’s where you come in.Job Description:About the RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic Validation &amp; Test Engineers interested in developing expertise in embedded and safety-critical systems.This role provides an excellent opportunity for candidates from Automotive, Telecom, SCADA, Industrial Automation, Embedded Systems, or Electronics backgrounds to transition into the railway sector.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support test design and execution activities.</li><li>Perform laboratory and integration testing.</li><li>Document and track defects.</li><li>Support requirements reviews and test case preparation.</li><li>Participate in troubleshooting and root cause investigations.</li><li>Work under the guidance of senior validation engineers.</li></ul>Essential Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>Understanding of embedded systems fundamentals.</li><li>Knowledge of software and system testing principles.</li><li>Basic knowledge of C/C++ programming.</li><li>Good problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Good English communication skills.</li></ul>Desirable Requirements<ul><li>Experience testing embedded products.</li><li>Familiarity with laboratory instruments and measurement techniques.</li><li>Exposure to Automotive, Aerospace, Telecom, SCADA, or Industrial Automation projects.</li><li>Familiarity with requirements management and test tools.</li><li>Basic awareness of safety-critical development concepts.</li><li>Basic knowledge of railway systems.</li></ul>TrainingSelected candidates will participate in a structured training and mentoring program covering ETCS, railway signalling fundamentals, testing methodologies, safety standards, and engineering tools. Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
