This role is focused on helping us improve the way we use purchasing data during New Product Development projects within EMEA region.Cost is becoming more and more important in the early stages of development. By having strong data support within NPD, we can better understand supplier prices, identify cost gaps earlier, and help projects start with the right cost from the beginning.HOW WILL YOUR WEEK LOOK LIKE?As a Purchasing Data Analytics Intern – NPD, you will support our NPD and Purchasing teams by collecting, checking, and analyzing purchasing data linked to new product development projects.Your weekly tasks may include:<ul><li>Collecting and cleaning purchasing data from internal systems such as MAPICS or global Warehouse Databricks.</li><li>Supporting the analysis of supplier quotations, current prices, target costs, and cost differences.</li><li>Helping to identify missing or incorrect data in NPD projects.</li><li>Creating simple reports and dashboards to show cost gaps, quote status, and open actions.</li><li>Supporting the NPD team with clear data so they can give feedback to Strategic Purchasing.</li><li>Working with Buyers,  NPD, and Strategic Purchasing teams to follow up on supplier and cost information.</li><li>Helping improve Excel files, Power BI reports, templates, and other tracking tools.  VBA/macros, DAX and POWERQUERY (will be a plus)</li><li>Supporting cost-focused projects so that we can make better purchasing decisions earlier in the NPD process.</li></ul>Your backgroundWe are looking for students who bring curiosity, structure, and analytical thinking to the table:<ul><li>A Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Business, Data Analytics,  Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>Strong skills in Excel, and understanding of Data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) process</li><li>Familiar with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, VBA/macros, or ETL processes — this is a plus, not a must</li><li>Detail-oriented, structured, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus</li><li>Comfortable working with different teams and following up on open actions.</li><li>Strong sense of initiative, ownership, and collaboration</li><li>Interested in purchasing, cost analysis, data, and new product development.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>A professional and collaborative environment within a global organization</li><li>A culture that promotes teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation</li><li>Mentorship and guidance from experienced purchasing and analytics professionals.</li><li>Real experience with cost data, supplier information, and project reporting.</li><li>Flexibility to take ownership of tasks and grow your own responsibilities</li><li>NS card</li><li>Internship compensation</li></ul>
