This role partners closely with local management and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial results, strong operational support, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, ASC 606, FAR, and CAS requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee site financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost accounting, and operational analysis.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting.</li><li>Manage the revenue process and ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.</li><li>Review contract terms, including EAC considerations, to ensure proper revenue recognition and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities.</li><li>Lead and maintain revenue forecasting through regular updates and collaboration with stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor production costs, cost of sales, inventory valuation, standard cost versus actual cost performance, product margins, and related analytics.</li><li>Serve as a business partner to the local management team by providing financial insight, operational support, and recommendations to improve business performance.</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls, SOX compliance, accounting integrity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.</li><li>Streamline finance processes and procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and control effectiveness.</li><li>Build, manage, coach, and develop the accounting team to support site and business objectives.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA preferred.</li><li>+7 yrs of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, cost accounting, revenue accounting, and financial analysis.</li><li>Strong understanding and practical application of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.</li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.</li><li>Working knowledge of FAR and CAS preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational, time management, analytical, verbal communication, and written communication skills.</li></ul>Employment Requirements:Due to the nature of the work performed at this facility and applicable access restrictions, successful applicants must qualify as a “U.S. Person,” defined as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.To support a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Energetics requires candidates to successfully complete a background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.The posted salary range is a general guideline for this job level and location.
