You will be tasked with developing and delivering insights drawn from our unparalleled industry data and experience. You will work closely with your project lead to successfully manage the project schedule.  Depending on the size of the project that you are staffed on, you may have Consultants on the team over which you may play a vital role in mentoring and performing QA/QC on the work that they perform.  In some cases (e.g. on smaller projects) you may not have more junior staff below you and so we are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and help us get the work done regardless of the scenario. You will have opportunities to develop relationships with clients and establish yourself as a trusted advisor. A growing portion of our pipeline supports client IT and digital programs, including ERP, GIS, customer information systems and network modernization, where we own the sourcing, vendor selection and program governance rather than the technical implementation. Exposure to this environment is preferred, although not required.Main Responsibilities (Serving our Clients)<ul><li>Provide deep analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize results into meaningful conclusions to help our clients make strategic procurement and capital project decisions</li><li>Perform market research to assess supply and demand factors influencing our clients' strategic business decisions</li><li>Support the bidding processes for large capital project contracts and strategic supply chain initiatives, including performing pricing analysis, coordinating bidder correspondence, designing and orchestrating bidder negotiations and implementing contracts</li><li>Support sourcing work on client IT and digital programs, including RFP preparation, bid tabulation and pricing analysis for software, hardware and system integrator services</li><li>Use WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform software tools to analyze spend, build custom cost models, forecast escalation, manage eSourcing bid events and support many of our other consulting solutions.
