Position Summary As a key member of GFL’s Business Development team, you will play a vital role in strengthening client relationships and providing invaluable support to the internal teams. You  will be responsible for coordinating proposals as directed, ensuring they are completed  efficiently and on time. This role currently offers flexibility with a hybrid work schedule, providing a balance between in-office and remote work. Specific Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Office Staff to ensure  seamless communication and collaboration. </li><li>Allocate business to Account Managers based on customer needs and requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of sales agreements and quotes through OMS, ensuring the  sales team has access to up-to-date documentation. </li><li>Ensure accurate and complete customer setup in OMS, including all relevant contact  information, Specific service requirements, and account details for efficient processing  and management.</li><li>Draft quotes as requested by Account Managers or the Regional Sales Manager. </li><li>Provide administrative support for Account Managers, including handling reports,  customer history, and pricing history when required. </li><li>Collaborate with the Technical team and other resources when their support is required.</li><li>Support the Inside Sales Manager and local Sales Manager with special projects.</li><li>Lead sales-related projects, such as large rollbacks, pricing updates, and corporate  updates. </li><li>Perform system updates, including maintaining price lists, managing customer-specific  requirements, updating pricing by account, and logging system entries as needed. </li><li>Other duties as required. </li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Proven background in customer service or sales preferred, with environmental services experience considered a strong asset.</li><li>A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is an asset.</li><li>Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and Gmail). </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <ul><li>Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic. </li><li>Sense of pride that promotes a positive team spirit. </li><li>Exceptional customer service skills along with a strong sense of team.</li><li>Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, and negotiation skills. </li><li>Computer literate with proficient use of customer database systems. </li></ul>GFL Benefits<ul><li>Competitive wages.</li><li>RRSP company matching program.</li><li>Industry leading health, dental, vision and mental health benefits.</li><li>Employee assistance programs.</li><li>Paid training and development opportunities.</li><li>A supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.</li></ul>  We thank you for your interest.
