And that’s where you come in.Job Description:Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Accountable technical authority for railway project engineering decisions</li><li>Ensure compliance with ENR standards, international standards, and Hitachi Rail processes</li><li>Contribute to system architecture and design baselines</li><li>Ensure integration across signalling, telecom, power, and rolling stock interfaces</li><li>Manage interfaces with legacy railway infrastructure</li><li>Support safety assurance activities including hazard analysis and safety case development</li><li>Act as technical interface with client and stakeholders</li><li>Identify and mitigate technical risks and support engineering changes</li><li>Manage site engineering, testing, and commissioning activities</li><li>Collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams</li></ul>Key Deliverables<ul><li>System design documentation and inputs to design baseline</li><li>Participation in design reviews (PDR, CDR, IDR)</li><li>Safety and compliance documentation support</li><li>Interface Control Documents (ICDs) in coordination with Interface Manager.</li><li>Technical risk registers and mitigation tracking</li><li>Contribution to ENR technical approvals</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>University degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems, or Railway Engineering</li><li>10+ years of experience with Railway signaling projects design and implementation</li><li>5+ years’ experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams</li><li>Mandatory to have strong oral and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus.</li><li>Involved in the delivery of more than 1 Rail signalling project in some capacity including experience in System Design, System Integration, and System Acceptance</li><li>Experience in system integration and railway projects</li><li>Exposure to complex safety-critical railway systems with experience covering full SW and HW development life cycles</li><li>Experience with ETCS L1 systems is a plus.</li></ul><ul></ul>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
