In this role, you will play a key part in supporting VAT and Intrastat reporting across Europe, contributing to high-impact processes in a dynamic, international environment.General Responsibilities<ul><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in accordance with local tax regulations and deadlines.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Prepare and submit intrastat reports</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Ensure compliance with VAT laws, directives, and regulatory requirements.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Calculate VAT liabilities and ensure correct posting in accounting systems.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Perform regular reconciliations of VAT accounts and investigate discrepancies.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Review financial transactions to ensure correct VAT treatment (domestic, intra-community, import/export).</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external VAT audits.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Respond to inquiries from tax authorities in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Support other departments (Finance, Procurement, Sales) with VAT-related queries.</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Maintain proper VAT documentation and ensure audit trail is complete and compliant.</li></ul>  Education &amp; Qualifications<ul><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field</li></ul> Experience<ul><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Experience handling VAT reporting is an advantage </li></ul> Technical Skills &amp; Knowledge<ul><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Knowledge of VAT regulations is an advantage </li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)</li></ul> Key Competencies<ul><li style="color:#242424 !important;">High attention to detail and strong analytical skills</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities</li></ul> Communication &amp; Interpersonal Skills<ul><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Strong written and verbal communication skills in English</li><li style="color:#242424 !important;">Ability to collaborate effectively with TAX authorities</li></ul>Gross Annual Salary Range: 20,779.00 EUR - 28,571.40 EURThe salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
