This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, distributor support, sample requests, and sales administration while proactively identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. Experience working with distributors, brokers, foodservice operators, or retail customers is highly desirable. Position Responsibilities:Customer &amp; Account Support<ul><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and day-to-day account needs. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and broker partners. </li><li>Coordinate customer onboarding and account setup. </li><li>Respond to product, pricing, and availability questions in a timely manner. </li><li>Manage inbound sales inquiries and qualify new opportunities. </li><li>Build customer re-engagement opportunities.</li></ul>Sales Coordination<ul><li>Support the team by scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and coordinating follow-up activities. </li><li>Prepare quotes, sales proposals, and pricing documentation. </li><li>Coordinate product sample requests and ensure timely delivery. </li><li>Track customer engagement from initial inquiry through order placement. </li><li>Assist with new product launches and promotional initiatives. </li></ul>CRM &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain accurate customer records within CRM. </li><li>Track sales opportunities and pipeline activity.</li><li>Generate weekly sales reports and performance dashboards. </li><li>Maintain customer contact lists and sales documentation. </li><li>Monitor contract renewal dates and pricing updates. </li></ul>Distributor &amp; Broker Support<ul><li>Coordinate communication between internal teams, distributors, and brokers. </li><li>Assist with distributor onboarding and product information. </li><li>Support broker reporting and territory management. </li><li>Help coordinate distributor promotions and marketing programs. </li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure customer success. </li><li>Work with logistics and operations to coordinate inventory availability with customer demand. </li><li>Communicate customer feedback and market intelligence to internal teams. </li><li>Assist in resolving order or fulfillment issues. </li></ul>Trade Shows &amp; Marketing Support<ul><li>Coordinate logistics for trade shows and customer events. </li><li>Assist with booth materials, sample shipments, and lead tracking. </li><li>Follow up with trade show leads and schedule meetings. </li><li>Maintain sales collateral and marketing materials.  </li></ul> Qualifications: Candidates should have all of the following credentials: Required<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. </li><li>2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication. </li><li>Proficiency in Google Workspace Suites</li><li>Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, First Bite or similar). </li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience in food manufacturing, foodservice, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or ingredient sales. </li><li>Experience working with foodservice distributors (Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, etc.). </li><li>Familiarity with broker-managed sales organizations. </li><li>Experience supporting national accounts or regional sales teams.  </li></ul> Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds.  Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This position may require weekend or after-hours work.  Location &amp; Travel: Remote work with travel from homebase is required. Work requires up to 15 percent travel time. This requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license and a personal vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed).   Compensation Package: The salary range for this position, $65,000-85,000, depends on experience. Medical, dental, vision insurance offered.
