This role involves hands-on problem-solving to enable successful B2B sales and product integration. Responsibilities include technical support, documentation, customer training, product demonstrations, and collaboration with internal engineering teams across development, testing, and manufacturing.<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Develop technical documentation including application notes, test procedures, FAQs, user guides, and product specifications.</li><li>Assist in product validation and release processes.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to product design, production, and validation.</li><li>Deliver product training to customers, sales representatives, and internal staff.</li><li>Support customers with system design, troubleshooting, and application of FLIR OEM products.</li><li>Analyze data and generate reports to support engineering initiatives.</li><li>Participate in assembly, testing, and development of OEM products.</li><li>Travel (domestic and international) to support product demonstrations and on-site support.</li><li>Gather customer insights and market feedback to inform product development and system requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with the sales team to support business development, including trade shows and customer visits.</li><li>Contribute to production line improvements based on customer feedback, including yield and process optimization.</li><li>Provide support to ensure smooth production operations and product delivery.</li><li>Assist systems engineering with the design, definition, and implementation of complex system requirements.</li><li>Support hardware/software compatibility efforts and system specification development.</li><li>Provide application support for a wide range of internal and external customer use cases involving IR camera systems.</li><li>Collaborate with senior systems engineers and contribute to special projects as needed.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and apply new concepts.</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international); valid passport required.</li><li>Proficiency in software tools such as MATLAB or Python (C/C++ experience is a plus).</li><li>Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.</li><li>Competency in mechanical and electrical assembly.</li><li>Applicants must be either a U.S. Citizen or Perm Resident</li></ul><h2>Preferred Education &amp; Background</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
