In this role, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and you’ll oversee the end-to-end payroll accounting processes for assigned regions. You are eager to take ownership of initiatives, from ideation through execution, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals.This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in Penang to maintain effective collaboration across teams.What You’ll Do:<ul style=""><li>Prepare payroll-related journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses.</li><li>Prepare monthly journal entries and support balance sheet reconciliations for payroll-related accounts, including assisting with reconciliation inquiries.</li><li>Coordinate with designated internal stakeholders to support payroll-related payment activities.</li><li>Process and reconcile payroll-related invoices and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders as needed.</li><li>Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasting reports and other payroll-related reports to support management reporting and statutory requirements.</li><li>Support payroll operations by maintaining and validating payroll pay code mappings to general ledger accounts.</li><li>Assist with payroll and statutory audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.</li><li>Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.</li><li>Assist in preparing monthly payroll metrics and reporting.</li></ul>About You:<ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration</li><li>3-6 years relevant experience and a demonstrated understanding of accounting and finance principles</li><li>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities</li><li>Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Proficiency with multi-country payroll systems (e.g. CloudPay / ADP) &amp; ERP accounting systems (e.g. Netsuite).</li><li>Experience completing payroll audits and preparing documentation for internal/external auditors.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul style=""><li>Relentlessly result-driven without taking shortcuts: integrity above everything</li><li>Energetic team player with the ability to build good working relationships</li><li>Basic knowledge of US GAAP, with the ability to apply accounting principles to payroll journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.</li></ul>#LI-RemoteIf you want to make an impact, Lime is the place for you.
