About this role  We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of renewable energy projects in South Africa, including Solar PV, Wind and/or Battery Energy Storage System projects.The successful candidate will assist with project planning, progress tracking, contractor coordination, reporting, procurement follow-up, document control, risk tracking and site coordination. This role is suited to a developing project management professional with an engineering, project management or construction background who wants to grow within the renewable energy sector. Duties and responsibilities  <ul><li>Assist with maintaining project schedules, trackers and action logs.</li><li>Support project reporting, meeting minutes and stakeholder follow-up.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal project teams.</li><li>Support the Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with project risk management, including identification, assessment, logging and tracking of mitigation actions. Assist the PM in preparing and updating risk registers; follow up on risk owners to ensure timely close-out.</li><li>Assist with procurement tracking and document control.</li><li>Support site inspections, quality tracking, HSE follow-up and close-out documentation.</li><li>Maintain risk, issue and deliverable registers.</li><li>Support the Project Manager / Senior Project Manager in achieving project milestones, including tracking interface milestones and dependencies between EPC, supply and other contracts where applicable.</li><li>Support the Project Manager in tracking contractor financial milestones, including verification of supporting documentation and evidence against milestone deliverables.</li><li>Capture and document lessons learned throughout project delivery; support knowledge transfer between project phases.</li></ul> Required skills and education background.  <ul><li>Qualification in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 3 years' working experience in project management, construction, engineering, infrastructure, EPC or renewable energy projects; or demonstrable involvement in at least one large-scale project through to completion.</li><li>Strong communication, reporting and coordination skills.</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li><li>Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools will be advantageous.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.</li><li>Renewable energy experience in Solar PV, Wind or BESS will be advantageous.</li></ul> Advantageous Experience The following would strengthen the candidate profile: <ul><li>Exposure to Solar PV, Wind, BESS, electrical balance of plant or civil balance of plant.</li><li>EPC project exposure.</li><li>Site-based construction experience.</li><li>Knowledge of project controls.</li><li>Basic contract administration experience.</li><li>Experience with HSE, quality and commissioning documentation.</li><li>Experience in grid or environmental workstreams would be useful but not essential.</li></ul> Desirable attributes The ideal candidate would have a passion for the renewable energy sector and personality traits would include a high level of diligence, determination, resilience, and agility. Mulilo is an employer of choice and is offering an extremely competitive total remuneration package for this position. Additional Information  Able to work overtime according to operational needs.Travel will be required occasionally.</div>
