The final job title, Project Quality Engineer or Project Quality Manager, will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills and experience.  Your role and responsibilities As a Project Quality Manager / Engineer, your work will include planning, implementing and controlling project quality management activities in compliance with applicable internal, customer and legal requirements. You’ll be working as part of the Project Quality Assurance team with diverse expertise in the QEHS organization in our Engine Power Plant business.  Your work will focus on these responsibilities: <ul><li>Prepare and manage the project quality plans/ documentation and its contents</li><li>Review customer tender/ contractual requirements related to quality management and identify the risks</li><li>If necessary, create and implement a project-specific process to fulfil the contractual requirements</li><li>Ensure project quality management requirements are fulfilled and documented</li><li>Actively participate in project gates and milestone meetings and support quality management related topics</li><li>Focus on continuous improvement of project/ product quality based on lessons learned, feedback and non-conformities</li><li>Coordinate and ensure supplier- and product-related quality management and quality documentation requirements are fulfilled in project</li><li>Plan and manage the necessary product certification required to be delivered for the project as per regulations</li><li>Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to ensure the site quality management system is implemented and quality assurance/ control documentation is developed and maintained</li></ul>  To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have: <ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in the mechanical, electrical, civil or industrial field</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience either in project management, quality management, site construction management or procurement management</li><li>Knowledge of the equipment and systems in power plants or the energy industry</li><li>Hands-on experience in any of the following fields: construction, fabrication, welding, manufacturing, installation, commissioning</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS requirements</li><li>ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification will be seen as an advantage</li><li>Fluent English, and other language skills, such as Spanish, French, or German will be seen as an advantage</li></ul>  Why you and us? We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility for our work.
