We don’t expect you to ‘fit’ every requirement – your life experience, character, perspective, and passion for achieving great things in the world are equally as important to us.<h1>Job description</h1>HR Advisor (Employee Life Cycle &amp; Offboarding) - 18-Month Temporary RoleThe RoleThe HR Advisor (Employee Life Cycle &amp; Offboarding) supports employee lifecycle events and offboarding activities across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and an excellent employee and manager experience.What You'll be doing:HR Transaction Processing and Support<ul><li>Manage daily HR requests and inquiries through the AskHR Portal, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.</li><li>Support employee lifecycle processes, including transfers, promotions, organizational changes, compensation changes, and other employment-related transactions.</li><li>Coordinate and administer end-to-end offboarding activities, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee exit process.</li><li>Prepare HR documentation, including employee change letters, employment certificates, termination documentation, and other employee-related correspondence.</li><li>Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, managers, Legal, and other stakeholders to resolve employee lifecycle and offboarding queries.</li><li>Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in accordance with company policies and local requirements.</li><li>Support audit activities, reporting, and data quality initiatives related to employee lifecycle processes.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Employee Life Cycle &amp; Offboarding function.</li></ul>Project Support<ul><li>Assist in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, communications, training activities, and operational excellence programs.</li></ul>What You'll bring:Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Employee Life Cycle Administration, Offboarding, Employee Data Management, or a similar HR support environment is preferred.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, professional, and global environment is an advantage.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies<ul><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Workday HRIS is preferred.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.</li><li>Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.</li></ul>#LI-MM3<h1>About us  </h1>We’re a global, 1000-stong, diverse team of professional experts, promoting and delivering Social Innovation through our One Hitachi initiative (OT x IT x Product) and working on projects that have a real-world impact.
