We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor - MEP to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for managing costs, preparing comprehensive bills of quantities, and ensuring efficient project delivery for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain budget control and optimize project profitability while adhering to contractual obligations and industry standards.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for MEP systems and components</li><li>Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to accurately quantify materials and labor requirements</li><li>Monitor and control project costs throughout all phases of construction, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures</li><li>Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies to support project planning and decision-making</li><li>Manage contract documentation, including variations, claims, and change orders related to MEP work</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and ensure cost-effective procurement</li><li>Prepare cost reports and financial forecasts for project stakeholders and management</li><li>Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify quantities and ensure compliance with contract specifications</li><li>Maintain organized project records, databases, and documentation for audit and reference purposes</li><li>Analyze tender documents and prepare cost comparisons to support vendor selection</li><li>Ensure compliance with local construction standards and regulations applicable in Bahrain</li></ul>
