The ideal candidate will assist in the installation of residential and light commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring all work meets the highest standards and complies with current National Electrical Code and local jurisdiction requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Sun Service provides full benefits, a 401k match, company vehicle, and power tools. The time has never been better to jump into this quickly growing industry, and what better way to do so than with a young, rapidly growing company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li><strong>System Installation:</strong> Assist with the installation of residential solar PV systems from start to finish.</li><li><strong>Project Execution:</strong> Follow project plans, specifications, and installation requirements while communicating field updates.</li><li><strong>Quality &amp; Safety:</strong> Perform work in accordance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and safety requirements.</li><li><strong>Team Support:</strong> Assist the Team Lead and crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.</li><li><strong>Equipment Management:</strong> Maintain work vehicles, trailers, tools, equipment, and job site organization.</li><li><strong>Project Preparation:</strong> Assist with job packs, material staging, warehouse coordination, and project documentation.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Complete training and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Required / Minimum</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record </li><li>Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces </li><li>Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills </li><li>General knowledge of construction, building materials, and OSHA safety practices </li><li>Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred / Helpful</strong></p><ul><li>1+ year of solar installation experience </li><li>Experience with residential construction or roofing </li><li>Experience using hand and power tools </li><li>Interest in building a career in the renewable energy industry</li></ul><div>Salary Description</div><div>$28 - $32 per hour</div>
