He/she will support in Manila office with the role as Trade Management Operations in APAC markets on Name Give Ups, Exchange Traded and/or Matched Principal activities.The candidate will work closely with the Front Office, get prepared to discuss initiatives to aid the Front Office in trade booking and brokerage calculation, and support the business during Trades Lifecycle, i.e. before, during and after trade execution.  To provide Operations feedback and perspective with Risk &amp; Control mindset while facilitating the Business and Front Office from initial booking through the front &amp; middle office systems to confirmations.The role and responsibility include Client Services, Operations Excellence and Quality Assurance: ensures all trades are accurately booked and matched in-time according to strict settlement timelines and/or client’s expectation; ensures all trade confirmations are accurate and send to clients within the agreed SLA; ensures all enquiry are properly handled and promptly follow up; ensures tasks completeness and procedures/ SOP are up-to-date.Role Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for ensuring that all trades arrive from the various front end trade capture systems, and are processed into such in a timely manner</li><li>Ensure that all trades are delivered to the client, via a 3rd Party electronic mechanism (e.g. Markitwire, Refinitiv), where applicable.</li><li>Ensure that all confirmations are delivered to the client, via either Fax or Email (or alternative route, such as ACS).</li><li>Liaise with brokers and/or customers in relation to non-delivery of fax, email and ACS confirmations.</li><li>Resolve any queries in relation to non-delivery of electronic confirmations, liaising with either the 3rd Party Vendor and/or the Ops Services team, to ensure delivery by amending the trade after any changes / permission being granted.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate entry of trades into various clearing venues, as appropriate.</li><li>Perform daily and regular operational controls and reconciliation, such as Brokerages reconciliation, Day Summary &amp; Exceptional Brokerage reports, Intersystem reconciliation &amp; follow up breaks with Front Office/ Clients, EOD tasks completeness checklist, etc.</li><li>Ensure that any incoming confirmations from a 3rd party broker, or an overseas branch, match the details that we have booked in our system</li><li>Monitor trade blotter and all electronic confirmation processes delivered to Markitwire or Reuters are accepted on a timely manner.</li><li>With reference to the above point, and in relation to SEF executed trades, ensure that all trades are cleared in a timely manner, escalating as appropriate, in accordance with the procedures defined.</li><li>Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports where required for Commercial and Operational management.</li><li>Maintain good audit trails, books &amp; records; ensure SOP/Procedure are reviewed regularly and up-to-date.</li><li>Support the proper escalation matrix &amp; protocols, team &amp; organization structure and management direction.</li></ul>Experience / Competences:Essential<ul><li>University graduates (Bachelor degree or above), or with equivalent years of  relevant work experience.</li><li>Have good underlying knowledge of cross asset classes, including Rates, FX Forwards, Money Market, Fixed Income and/or Equity Derivatives.</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Copilot, etc.)</li><li>Skills as a bonus to the role – AI, Power Automate, Python, Low-code-No-code, Data integration, etc.</li><li>Have experience managing trade flow, ideally from a financial services background, and be able to show evidence as to products knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with the front office.</li><li>Resolve queries in relation to non-delivery of electronic confirmations, liaising with either the 3rd Party Vendor and/or the Ops Services team, to ensure delivery, amending the trade, as necessary, subsequent to any changes / permission being granted.</li><li>Overview of external systems/ platforms, such as RTNS, Markitwire, UTS, etc.</li><li>Contact MarkitWire/ Refinitiv, where appropriate, to resolve any trades that cannot be delivered due to permission/data issues.</li><li>Handles trade queries from institutional customers and front office.</li><li>Able to meet tight deadlines and cut-off times.</li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills, positive mindset and attitude, creative and consistent.</li><li>Willing to work on public holidays with rotations.</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Some experiences in projects, system migration or UAT.</li><li>Continuous improvement mindset in both BAU processes and personal objectives.</li></ul>Job Level and Band<ul><li>Professional, L4 or L5</li></ul>Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
