Job Purpose &amp; DescriptionThe role of Quality Assurance Technician C requires consistent performance across the four core QA functions: inspect, test, verify, and advise. We have a 12-hour rotating day shift from 6:45am-7pm available and a 12-hour rotating night shift from 6:45pm-7am.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain plant Health and Safety.</li><li>Measure all new start, and in production products, and perform all tests on manufactured, trial/complaint samples, and new products, ensuring that they meet all company and industry standards as outlined in the IPEX Quality Management Manual (QMS)</li><li>Report all nonconformities to management.</li><li>Accurately document all measuring and testing results.</li><li>Visually inspect daily production as outlines in the QMS per product classification</li><li>Print and apply production labels as needed.</li><li>Assist in calibrating and recording in-house instruments and gauges when necessary.</li><li>Update and maintain applicable databases.</li><li>Complete verifications and data collection.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li><li>Perform all other duties as required.</li></ul>Job RequirementsEducation and Certificates.<ul><li>High School Diploma (or equivalent); Experience with plastic extrusion process preferred.</li><li>Forklift certificate (internal training available).</li><li>Proficiency with micrometers, OD tape, vernier calipers, measuring tapes; (must pass QA measuring test ≥ 80%) within 90 days of hire.</li></ul>Technical Skills and Experience.<ul><li>Knowledge, understanding and application of measuring skills.</li><li>Knowledge of basic mathematics.</li><li>Use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint to record and communicate quality information.</li><li>Identify instruments requiring calibration, perform basic verification checks, and report equipment issues promptly.</li><li>Apply safe work practices, handle chemicals responsibly, maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S principles, and actively identify hazards.</li><li>Strong comprehension of instructions, procedures, results, and quality‑critical details.</li></ul>              CompetenciesA successful candidate must demonstrate capability in the following areas:<ul><li>Brings a forward‑looking mindset, able to understand the plant’s goals and align daily work with long‑term operational needs.</li><li>Shares information early, escalates to the right level, confirms receipt and action, and owns the result</li><li>Accountable for the outcome, not just the task; Take charge and close the loop.</li><li>Demonstrate urgency, initiative, accuracy, accountability, and reliable work habits.</li><li>Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written.</li><li>Observe details carefully; distinguish facts from assumptions; apply 5‑Why effectively; and pursue continuous learning.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team.</li></ul>Key Relationships<ul><li>Daily interaction with Line Operators, Shift Supervisors/Leads, Maintenance, DC, Material Handling, Shipping, and Quality Assurance and Plant leadership.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Mostly work indoors in manufacturing environment with long periods of standing/walking.</li><li>Progressive degrees of changing factors in the work process.</li><li>Exposure to a moderate level of hazards in the work environment, such as chemicals, commercial products, exposure to potential toxins, moving machinery, repetitive motion, excessive noise and distracting noise levels, powered industrial vehicle fork/reach/ bucket lift/other.</li><li>Required to perform a moderate level of specific tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs, muscular action, body movements, working positions, posture changes, visual attentiveness.</li><li>Required to wear protective eyewear, reflective safety clothing, appropriate gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection, safety shoes, hard hat, and/or other.</li><li>Work always requires sensory attention.</li><li>The incumbent understands, respects and adheres to the workplace Health &amp; Safety rules, 5-S, and housekeeping expectations of the Kingman facility.</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Starting hourly rate $23.47/hour</li><li>Health, dental, and vision</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>401k matching</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul>
