In addition, they will provide technical support &amp; expertise on equipment and building maintenance projects including installation, design &amp; costing. Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee the functions related to maintenance, engineering, and plant projects</li><li>Monitor &amp; schedule maintenance activities for plant equipment &amp; the building</li><li>Develop, implement &amp; maintain a preventative maintenance program that will maximize the productivity of the equipment/tooling</li><li>Manage the capital budget expenditures for the facility as they relate to the maintenance department</li><li>Analyze job costing and material reports and review financial records to ensure projects are in line with the budget</li><li>Source new process equipment and materials, research benchmarking of new processes for continuous improvement to meet changing needs</li><li>Monitor and manage the energy control, live work and working at heights programs including developing &amp; reviewing work instructions</li><li>Maintain contractor management program and act as an onsite project supervisor to contractors, third parties or employees for projects to run according to schedule and prepare progress reports</li><li>Maintain accurate and up to date reference manuals and materials for all equipment &amp; machinery</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Degree/Diploma in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience within a maintenance department</li><li>5 or more years’ progressive leadership experience in a Manufacturing Maintenance department</li><li>Prior Maintenance experience in Plastics industry, focus on Injection Molding highly preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical concepts and extensive experience with electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical work</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills</li><li>Ability to lead and motivate others</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
