In this role, you will provide technical expertise and engineering support to enhance machine safety, equipment installations, and regulatory compliance. You will work on a variety of projects from concept through implementation, conducting risk assessments, supporting safety reviews, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Health &amp; Safety teams, you will play a key role in creating safer workplaces while delivering projects on time and within budget.Travel Requirement: up to 30% within Ontario Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in planning, coordination and execution of Health &amp; Safety engineering projects including but not limited to safety reviews, health &amp; safety initiatives and risk mitigation, ensuring they are completed within budget, timeline, quality and safety standards.</li><li>Support pre-start health and safety reviews (PSHSR) and reporting per legislation requirements and provide recommendations. </li><li>Prepare and review Health &amp; Safety engineering project documentation, including procedures, specifications, drawings, reports, and progress updates.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support successful project delivery and effective communication.</li><li>Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project performance against established goals, proactively addressing challenges.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company Health &amp; Safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workplace safety, operational performance, and reliability.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical engineering</li><li>Has obtained or working towards obtaining a P.
