Reimagine What’s Possible  Principal Accountabilities<ul><li>Manage and perform various aspects of piping design including piping arrangement drawing, Isometric drawing, piping list, BOM preparation, piping support drawing, piping insulation standard etc. </li><li>Coordinate and communicate technical issues among various groups including AP Shanghai engineering centers and Local Design Institute</li><li>Review and feedback piping basic and detail design drawing and spec completed by LDI or vendors</li><li>Understanding AP engineering piping standard, spec and international industry piping engineering code and local code</li><li>Support project proposal estimation, project execution, commissioning and start up as requested</li><li>Support on site piping construction for technical issues and provide resolution suggestion</li><li>Maintain and develop piping design work process, ensure it be implemented appropriately.</li><li>Acts as a consultant in piping/equipment arrangement engineering areas of expertise.</li><li>Determine design strategy, Consults on engineering codes and principles. Participate in project execution and commercial strategies on multiple projects.</li><li>Establish project piping design plan and schedule, report design status and issues, ensure the schedule be met with good quality deliverables.</li><li>Leads in problem solving on significant issues</li><li>Contributes to development of AP standards and procedures.</li><li>Work closely with proposal development engineers (PDE) and commercial people to support new bidding opportunities timely and efficiently.</li><li>Track all detailed design lessons learned and lead action teams to develop required improvements</li><li>Coordinate plot plan design review meeting and related design issue tracking &amp; closeout</li><li>Coordinate design field support and FCR / DCN / CCO</li><li>Providing support to other AP engineering centers as workload requires.</li></ul>Recommended Skills and Experience<ul><li>5+ years experience in Piping Engineering for Gas, Chemical ,Petrochemical or underground pipeline with Design institute or engineering company.</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Be able to travel to site as required.</li><li>Skillful in piping design tools, such as AutoCAD, PDS, and Ravit.</li><li>Well understand Taiwan local and international piping engineering standards and design codes.</li><li>Well understand piping design, check and approve procedure as well as interface with other functions and disciplines;</li></ul> Founded in 1940, Air Products is a world-leading industrial gases company and has a proud history of innovation, operational excellence, with an unwavering commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
