The role provides technical leadership to manufacturing, supports new product introduction, and serves as a key interface between Engineering and Operations. Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing test systems, fixtures, and diagnostic tools.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and engineering support to manufacturing operations</li><li>Debug and resolve failures at system, subsystem, PCB, and component levels.</li><li>Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.</li><li>Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness activities.</li><li>Develop test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, and cost.</li><li>Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.</li><li>Mentor technicians and manufacturing personnel.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.</li><li>8+ years of manufacturing, test engineering, or production engineering experience.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.</li><li>Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscopes, power supplies, and environmental test equipment.</li><li>Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience supporting aerospace, defense, robotics, or unmanned systems.</li><li>NPI and manufacturing transfer experience.</li><li>Python, C, C++, or C# knowledge.</li><li>Mechatronics background is an asset</li><li>Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.</li></ul>Key CompetenciesTechnical Leadership, New Product Introduction, Root Cause Analysis, Manufacturing Support, Continuous Improvement, and Cross-Functional Collaboration.Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.#FLIR  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
