Position SummaryAs the Operations Manager, you will spearhead our Industrial Services Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in our organization's success. This dynamic position offers a balance of office and site-based responsibilities, with the specific mix tailored to current project demands.<ul><li>Health &amp; Safety: Ensure Health and Safety remains the top priority by adhering to all company policies and safe work practices.</li><li>Team Leadership &amp; Development: Manage union and non-union direct reports by monitoring daily activities, delegating duties effectively during work execution, and providing ongoing coaching.</li><li>Field Oversight: Spend significant time in the field to guarantee customer satisfaction, maintain high professional standards, and ensure safe job execution in line with company practices and client expectations.</li><li>Site Inspections &amp; Resource Planning: Perform job site walks with internal teams to verify that adequate labor, equipment, and material resources are allocated.</li><li>Asset Management: Ensure assets are maintained according to preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and maintain accurate inventory controls.</li><li>Financial Management: Assist with annual budget preparation, re-forecasting updates, and regular P&amp;L reviews. Develop and implement programs to optimize equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and material costs.</li><li>Bidding &amp; Estimating: Help develop job bids, project costing, and statements for client review.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HSE, administrative, and shutdown planning teams to effectively coordinate resources, major project scopes, and turnarounds.</li><li>Client Relations &amp; Growth: Build strong customer relationships through regular updates, troubleshooting, and follow-up meetings. Identify potential new clients and expansion opportunities with existing accounts.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Quality Control: Oversee pre-job mobilization and demobilization. Ensure all daily operational documentation is submitted clear, concise, and complete. </li><li>Incident Response: Promptly report all work-related accidents or incidents and actively participate in incident investigations.</li></ul>Experience, Qualifications &amp; Education<ul><li>Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership or project management experience in Industrial Cleaning or a related field.
