About this opportunity The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day execution of maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability, safety, and operational performance. This role translates maintenance strategy into site-level execution, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, equipment availability, and indirectly leading a team of technicians and machine owners.Available Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) Overtime: Applicable and paid in accordance with the Employment Act (EA).Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Lead and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.</li><li>Ensure preventative maintenance schedules and work orders are completed and managed through MEX.</li><li>Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and operational performance.</li><li>Provide hands-on technical support and lead root cause analysis for equipment issues.</li><li>Manage maintenance technicians, contractors, and daily work priorities.</li><li>Ensure spare parts availability, inventory accuracy, and 5S standards.</li><li>Maintain maintenance records, asset data, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Coach and develop technicians, machine owners, and operators.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:<ul><li>Proven experience leading and developing teams.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience with maintenance systems, with MEX experience preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability, and asset management principles.</li><li>Experience using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Why or A3.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>A hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.</li></ul>
