This team develop, enhance and support our flagship digital platform, serving global customers with critical price data, news and analytics in the commodities markets we serve. We make this data and intelligence easily accessible through multiple channels including web, desktop, API, Excel and mobile applications, enabling customers to integrate our digital offering into their business workflows.In this hands-on role, you will be a senior member of a globally distributed Agile team reporting to an Engineering Manager. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a highly competent and productive team member with a passion for writing clean, quality code, building high-scale distributed systems that are fault-tolerant, with deep operational insights. You will also be expected to engage at every stage of the software development lifecycle alongside other engineers, business analysts and product managers to successfully develop and deliver new features as well as support existing products. A key part of the role is also providing technical expertise to major projects and contributing to technical decisions that make a real difference to Fastmarkets customers.Our technical stack comprises principally of Microsoft .NET as well as Angular using Typescript for most of our front-end applications.
