We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.<ul><li>Work safely and adhere to Xylem safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Analyze facility effluent in accordance with EPA testing methods and Evoqua SOPs.</li><li>Enter result into databases and report results to the appropriate personnel.</li><li>Perform sampling, testing and acceptance of client waste deliveries in accordance with SOPs.</li><li>Enter information into computer database and tag waste in compliance with RCRA Part B Permit.</li><li>Provide notification if a discrepancy is identified.</li><li>Operate laboratory instruments; maintain instrument calibration to assure accurate test results.</li><li>Conduct wet chemical analysis in accordance with Xylem SOPs.</li><li>Conduct ion exchange and other testing using current SOPs.</li><li>Make and standardize laboratory reagents solutions as needed and assure lab supplies are in stock and ordered as needed.</li><li>Conduct lab safety meetings when directed and maintain appropriate housekeeping standards.</li><li>Minimum of an AA or equivalent in chemistry, environmental science or chemical engineering.</li><li>One year equivalent in industrial, inorganic analytical testing experience.</li><li>Knowledge of analytical chemistry specifically related to metals, cyanides and toxics.</li><li>Work in environment in proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, toxic-inorganic waste streams, fumes, odors, etc.</li><li>Must be able to initiate and exit the plant within one minute.</li><li>Must be able to respond to and distinguish between audible alarms.</li><li>Must be able to work in hot conditions for extended periods.</li><li>Must be able to wear a hardhat, face shield, safety glasses, earplugs, respirator and other required PPE.</li><li>Able to traverse the building and grounds.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
