The RoleAs a Tax Manager, you will be a member of Sixth Street’s Tax Compliance and Reporting Team, which is responsible for global tax compliance and reporting obligations across Sixth Street funds and business, based in Dallas. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for managing  annual and quarterly tax reporting processes by working closely with external service providers, third-party administrators, and Sixth Street’s Core platform.  Core ResponsibilitiesThe Tax Manager should be able to perform responsibilities, including, but not limited to the following:<ul><li>Manage external tax service providers to produce annual and estimated investor Schedules K-1. Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, thorough and consistent for the Sixth Street platform.</li><li>Monitor adherence to global tax filings, including fund and platform federal, foreign, and state and local tax returns.<ul><li>Understand and document obligations for:<ul><li>Income taxes</li><li>Sales and use taxes</li><li>VAT</li><li>Payroll, property or other assessments</li></ul></li><li>Team with Sixth Street professionals and external service providers on financial information data collection, tax return and reporting processing, and external delivery and filing for the Sixth Street platform.</li><li>Oversee compliance with global transparency initiatives for FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS).</li><li>Collaborate with Sixth Street Accounting and Operations on cash management matters related to taxes, including tax liabilities, estimated tax payments, and withholding.
