Timmons Group is currently seeking a qualified AI Implementation Specialist to join our team in Richmond, VA. The AI Implementation Specialist will support the day-to-day implementation, administration, and optimization of artificial intelligence tools and solutions across the firm. Remote employees will be considered. Essential duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Develop practical AI-enabled workflows, prompts, assistants, automation, and repeatable solutions that help technical teams improve productivity.</li><li>Partner with business units and technical staff to understand pain points and translate them into usable AI solutions.</li><li>Support the implementation of AI initiatives identified through the firm’s innovation and AI committee.</li><li>Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise AI tools and platforms, including Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI or automation tools.</li><li>Assist with testing, piloting, documenting, and deploying AI tools and workflows across teams.</li><li>Create user guides, training materials, prompt libraries, workflow documentation, and best-practice resources.</li><li>Monitor usage, adoption, performance, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Partner with IT to ensure tools are configured and used in accordance with data security, privacy, and responsible AI requirements.</li><li>Research emerging AI tools and practical applications, with a focus on solutions that can improve project delivery and employee productivity.</li></ul>Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, data science, engineering, GIS, business systems, or a related field.</li><li>3 to 8 years of experience in IT systems administration, business systems, data platforms, automation, AI tools, or technical support preferred.</li><li>Experience in Civil Engineering design and/or GIS a plus.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, automation tools, or other enterprise AI tools preferred.</li><li>Ability to develop prompts, workflows, automations, AI assistants, or practical technology solutions for business users.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and user support skills.</li><li>Familiarity with data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.</li><li>Ability to work with technical and non-technical users to understand needs and create practical solutions.</li></ul>Compensation: Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $85,000-$125,000. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials and role complexity.
