Position Overview:Protect the Client's commercial interests through programme-level contract administration, commercial governance, change management, claims management, and disciplined oversight of contractual obligations across all project packages.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Administer programme-level contract and commercial management processes across all project packages, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and governance requirements.</li><li>Maintain contract registers, notice trackers, correspondence protocols, commercial action logs, and contractual records for effective contract administration.</li><li>Review and assess variation orders, extension of time (EOT) requests, claims submissions, compensation events, and payment-related matters for contractual completeness and consistency.</li><li>Advise the Program Director on contractual entitlements, commercial exposures, risk allocation, dispute avoidance strategies, and resolution approaches.</li><li>Coordinate with Planning teams to evaluate delay events, schedule impacts, critical path implications, and entitlement substantiation.</li><li>Coordinate with Quantity Surveying (QS) teams to validate measurements, quantities, valuation records, and commercial evidence supporting contractual assessments.</li><li>Monitor commercial risks, unresolved contractual matters, claims trends, and potential disputes, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.</li><li>Support negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders on commercial matters, variations, and contract amendments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with contractual notice requirements, change management procedures, and governance approval processes.</li><li>Review payment applications, commercial forecasts, cost impacts, and contractual commitments to support informed decision-making.</li><li>Prepare programme-level contractual briefings, commercial assessments, decision papers, and recommendations for Client leadership.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of contractual communications, claims history, commercial decisions, and dispute resolution activities.</li></ul>Principal Client-Facing Outputs<ul><li>Contract Compliance and Notice Management Tracker.</li><li>Variation and Change Assessment Recommendations.</li><li>Extension of Time (EOT) and Claims Evaluation Reports.</li><li>Commercial Risk Register and Mitigation Report.</li><li>Contractual Entitlement Assessment Papers.</li><li>Executive Commercial Dashboard and Decision Register.</li><li>Dispute Avoidance and Resolution Recommendations.</li><li>Programme Commercial Status and Exposure Reports.</li></ul>
