Responsible for ensuring product conformance through inspection, cleaning, handling, and documentation while maintaining compliance with radiation safety procedures and company policies. X-ray operators must complete required training and follow established radiation safety requirements.</p><p></p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2><p>Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Perform X-ray inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished products in accordance with manufacturing instructions and inspection criteria.</li><li>Operate X-ray equipment safely and in compliance with radiation safety procedures.</li><li>Maintain required inspection records, logs, and documentation.</li><li>Follow established procedures for operation, startup, shutdown, and routine equipment checks.</li><li>Perform water wash and cleaning operations on assemblies and components using approved equipment, materials, and processes.</li><li>Inspect products for cleanliness, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Handle parts and assemblies carefully to prevent damage and contamination.</li><li>Identify and report nonconforming materials, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervision.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety requirements.</li><li>Follow all Quality Management System, ESD, safety, environmental, and radiation protection requirements.</li><li>Support production schedules and meet department throughput goals.</li><li>Assist with inventory, material movement, and other manufacturing activities as needed.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Qualifications</h2><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p><h3>Education and/or Experience</h3><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Manufacturing, inspection, or electronics production experience preferred 0-5.</li><li>Previous X-ray inspection experience preferred.</li><li>Experience working with manufacturing documentation and work instructions preferred.</li></ul><h3>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h3><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications.</li><li>Basic computer and data entry skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Knowledge of radiation safety practices is preferred.</li></ul></div><p style="text-align:inherit;">  </p><p style="text-align:left !important;">Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
