<p>Here is what you will be doing:</p><ul><li>Works under broad supervision.</li><li>May take on several components of a project. </li><li>Provides direction for team members. </li><li>Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies. </li><li>Troubleshoots problems of medium complexity and recommends appropriate action. </li><li>Participates with other team members to achieve common goals.</li><li>Takes ownership of standard ICT design packages with minimal supervision</li><li>Performs routine coordination directly with architects and engineers</li><li>Conducts site inspections independently on small to medium projects</li><li>Resolves common technical issues without escalation</li><li>Begins contributing to project planning and design decisions</li><li>Provides informal guidance to Candidate ICT Specialists when needed</li><li>Manages defined tasks within a project but not the full project</li><li>Interprets and applies standards but does not create or modify them</li><li>Works under direct supervision on routine tasks as per established procedures.</li><li>Works with other team members and/or end-users to troubleshoot basic problems.</li><li>Design and develop ICT systems, including network infrastructure, building management systems, CCTV, access control, and security systems</li><li>Create detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of ICT systems</li><li>Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints</li><li>Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ICT systems</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in ICT systems</li><li>Design and support:<ul><li>Structured cabling systems</li><li>Fibre optic networks</li><li>LAN/WAN infrastructure</li><li>Wi-Fi networks</li><li>Data centre and communications rooms</li><li>CCTV systems</li><li>Access control systems</li><li>Intruder detection systems</li><li>Public address and voice evacuation systems</li><li>Intercom systems</li><li>Building management system (BMS) interfaces</li></ul></li></ul>
