This role supports product quality and reliability through the development, maintenance, and execution of camera validation test applications. Responsibilities include analyzing test results, documenting findings in a clear and organized manner, and collaborating with engineering teams to investigate and resolve identified issues.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test solutions for infrared camera systems.</li><li>Create and maintain validation test applications and test frameworks.</li><li>Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and test cases.</li><li>Analyze test results and document findings in a clear, detailed, and organized manner.</li><li>Identify, troubleshoot, and help resolve software and system-level issues.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product quality and test coverage.</li><li>Support continuous improvement of software validation processes and automation capabilities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.</li><li>2+ years of experience in software verification, validation, or test engineering is preferred but not required.</li><li>Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly related to embedded systems.</li><li>Experience testing camera, sensor, imaging, or electro-optical systems is highly desirable.</li><li>Proficiency using Windows as a development and test environment; Linux experience is a plus.</li><li>Experience developing reusable automated test code, executing test cases, and generating test reports.</li><li>Experience creating validation test plans and both automated and manual test cases.</li><li>Test automation experience in embedded system development environments is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong Python programming skills are required.</li><li>Experience with C, C++, and/or C# is beneficial.</li><li>Experience with PyTest is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with software version control systems (Git, SVN), project tracking tools, and defect tracking systems.</li><li>Experience with Continuous Integration tools, particularly Jenkins, is a plus.</li><li>Experience using Jama for test case management is preferred but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence is desirable.</li><li>Experience leveraging AI tools within software and systems validation workflows is highly beneficial.</li></ul>Desired Competencies<ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with a structured approach to problem-solving.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.</li><li>Creative mindset with the ability to think from the customer's perspective and identify real-world use cases and edge cases.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li><li>Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.</li></ul>Security Requirement<ul><li>Must be a U.S. Person</li></ul><div></div>  Salary Range: $72,800.00-$97,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
