You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading transformation initiatives, developing regional distribution strategies and building high-performing teams across the region.This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on operational management, making it ideal for an experienced supply chain professional who thrives on driving change, improving performance and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.What will you do<ul><li>Lead and develop a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement across multiple distribution sites.</li><li>Take full ownership of regional distribution performance, ensuring service, productivity, inventory and cost targets are achieved.</li><li>Drive operational excellence initiatives, process improvements and network optimisation projects across the Southern Region.</li><li>Lead key transformation programs, including site performance improvement, capability development and systems optimisation.</li><li>Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, customer service and supply chain performance.</li><li>Partner with Supply Chain Leadership to support regional distribution strategy and future network design.</li><li>Monitor and improve key performance indicators including DIFOT, inventory accuracy, safety, productivity and cost performance.</li><li>Lead, coach and mentor Distribution Centre leaders and operational teams to build capability and succession pipelines.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, customer service and sales teams to deliver integrated supply chain outcomes.</li><li>Manage regional budgets, labour resources, third-party providers and operational expenditure.</li><li>Travel regularly between sites to provide visible leadership and support operational excellence initiatives. ​</li></ul>About you<ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline.</li><li>10 years + leadership experience across distribution, warehousing or supply chain operations, ideally within a multi-site environment.</li><li>Proven success leading change, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, operational performance and cost efficiency.</li><li>Experience with warehouse management systems, with SAP EWM experience highly regarded.</li><li>Strong knowledge of distribution, logistics, inventory management and supply chain best practice.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring and leadership.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organisation.</li><li>A visible, hands-on leadership style with an unwavering commitment to safety.</li><li>Curiosity, initiative and a growth mindset, with the drive to challenge the status quo and continuously improve outcomes.</li><li>The ability to travel regularly across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. </li></ul>Why join us?
