If you're an innovative collaborator ready to make a difference, come join us in shaping a better tomorrow!Reporting to the Lead, HR Systems, the HR Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting, optimizing, and continuously improving the organization's HR technology ecosystem, including Workday, Dayforce, Paradox, and related platforms. This position serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for HR systems, ensuring technology solutions support business objectives, workforce planning, employee lifecycle processes, compliance requirements, and data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will combine strong HRIS expertise with analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and project delivery capabilities to maximize the value of HR technology investments.This is a hybrid role three (3) days per week on-site at either our Oakville, ON or Markham, ON locations.The compensation for this position is between $70,800 and $88,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for participation in the annual short-term incentive bonus program, company-matched RRSP, and an extensive health and wellness medical benefits program.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Act as the primary support resource for Workday and other HR technologies, resolving complex system issues and providing guidance to HR teams, managers, and employees.</li><li>Administer HR technology platforms to ensure system stability, functionality, security, and optimal performance.</li><li>Analyze incidents, identify root causes, coordinate issue resolution, and partner with internal experts and vendors when escalation is required.</li><li>Support core HR processes including organizational management, position management, job requisitions, employee data maintenance, reporting, and workforce transactions.</li><li>Monitor data quality and conduct audits to identify discrepancies, improve data governance, and maintain system integrity.</li><li>Perform system testing for new releases, enhancements, integrations, and configuration changes, including UAT and regression testing activities.</li><li>Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and People Analytics teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Evaluate new Workday functionality and emerging HR technologies, recommending opportunities to streamline processes and improve user experience.</li><li>Support implementation projects, system upgrades, integration activities, deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization.</li><li>Develop end-user training materials, knowledge articles, process documentation, and standard operating procedures while supporting change management initiatives.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>3 to 5 years of progressive experience supporting HRIS, HR technology, payroll systems, or enterprise business applications.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Workday is strongly preferred; experience with Dayforce, Paradox, or comparable HR platforms is considered an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, compensation, organizational structures, and workforce data management.</li><li>Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing programs, and change management initiatives.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions.</li><li>Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, gathering business requirements, and documenting process improvements.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Workday Pro Certification and CHRP designation are considered strong assets.</li></ul>Success Profile<ul><li>Highly detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and process excellence.</li><li>Collaborative partner capable of building strong relationships across HR, IT, and business functions.</li><li>Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and technology innovation.</li><li>Strong problem solver who can evaluate risks, assess impacts, and make informed recommendations.</li><li>Committed to delivering outstanding service and enhancing the employee experience through technology.</li></ul>Why Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to influence business growth, develop strategic customer partnerships, and contribute directly to market expansion within a respected industry-leading organization.
