As we support the UK's transition to a low-carbon future and help deliver net zero ambitions, our people play a critical role in keeping the network safe, reliable and resilient.As a Project Engineer (SCADA), you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and operating SP Transmission's operational SCADA assets.What you’ll be doing<ul><li>Develop and maintain SCADA assets across the SPT network.</li><li>Provide change-process performance to both internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with all departmental interfaces.</li><li>Manage customer service proactively and reactively to meet all customer service KPIs.</li><li>Deliver RIIO price-control period objectives.</li><li>Provide operational response to SCADA faults and defects.</li><li>Interface with OCC to optimise team and system performance.</li></ul>What you’ll bring<ul><li>Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.</li><li>Experience of SCADA systems on the power system network.</li><li>Developed understanding of industry-standard SCADA protocols and protocol emulation tools.</li><li>Experience with Transmission and Distribution operational assets.</li><li>Ability to devise solutions to complex problems independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Knowledge of network and business data and network management systems.</li></ul>What’s in it for you As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
