In addition, the role provides operational office support to the local organization, ensuring smooth administrative processes and effective coordination between employees and management. The position acts as a key business partner to local management and the EMEA Finance organization, ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.</li><li>Ensure accurate accounting records in accordance with US GAAP and German statutory requirements (HGB).</li><li>Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities with shared service and corporate finance teams.</li><li>Perform variance analysis and provide actionable business insights.</li><li>coordinate and submit payroll to with external payroll provider</li><li>Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee general ledger integrity</li><li>Support tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors</li><li>Support local administrative, governance, banking, insurance, and office management activities.</li><li>Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance.</li><li>Support external and internal audits.</li><li>Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives.</li><li>Support ad hoc projects across Germany and the EMEA region</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in Financial Controlling, Finance, or Accounting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and IFRS.</li><li>Experience in a multinational manufacturing, technology, or industrial environment is preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial reporting + office admin lead and variance analysis.</li><li>Experience with statutory reporting and local German accounting requirements.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modeling).</li><li>Experience working with SAP (preferred SAP S/4HANA).</li><li>Knowledge of business intelligence/reporting tools or PowerBI.</li><li>Strong understanding of internal controls and financial compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience supporting audits and tax-related processes.</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
