This role supports production and shipping operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring materials are available where and when needed.What You’ll Do:<ul><li>The responsibilities include receiving material from receipt into SAP to receiving inspection to storage; issuing manufacturing/WIP while maintaining traceability of all product related materials.</li></ul><ul><li>SAP/Excel skills are required to be able to accomplish the associated transactions with the movements needed to move the components in the MRP system.</li><li>Receiving and inspection of inbound materials</li><li>Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents.</li><li>Store materials in designated locations following inventory control procedures.</li><li>Interface with engineering, production, and purchasing to coordinate material movements.</li><li>Understands and comply with all documented procedures for inventory and material handling activities.</li><li>Ensure efficient movement of materials required to meet production schedules.</li><li>Identify and track material shortages and will use the material shortage escalation process.</li><li>Assist with kit pulls for work order pick lists.</li><li>Responsible for inventory accuracy, including material organization, material issuing, stocking materials, monthly cycle counts and participate in yearly physical cycle counts.</li><li>Resolve inventory related issues such as material variances.</li><li>File all paperwork, including the organization of work orders.</li><li>Assist with returns to vendors.</li><li>Assist with shipping of all materials, including hazardous shipping.</li><li>Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and warehouse efficiency.</li><li>Follow all safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.</li></ul>What You Need:<ul><li>MS Office proficiency; Excel, Word, Outlook</li><li>MRP software experience is required.
