This position works closely with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications while meeting operational and business objectives.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and plant layouts.</li><li>Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and increased efficiency.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement and other operational excellence methodologies.</li><li>Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Support new product introductions by developing manufacturing processes and validating production readiness.</li><li>Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis for quality, safety, and operational challenges.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend equipment, tooling, automation, and technology solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality systems.</li><li>Participate in capital projects, including equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and validation.</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve throughput, yield, utilization, and overall equipment utilization.</li><li>Support safety programs and ensure manufacturing processes comply with environmental, health, and safety standards.</li><li>Train production personnel in the new processes, equipment, and best practices.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing process design.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.</li><li>Ability to generate and deliver presentations</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with SAP</li><li>Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Competitive pay and comprehensive health benefits</li><li>401(k) with company match and retirement plans</li><li>Paid time off and flexible work arrangements</li><li>Professional development and training opportunities</li><li>Employee wellness programs and assistance resources</li><li>A collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology</li></ul>What happens nextApply online through Teledyne’s careers page.
