We are the world’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, which provide a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels.</div>The Materials Coordinator is responsible for planning, receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies used in operating and maintaining the plant. Responsibilities<ul><li>Process incoming goods to include receipt, unpacking, storage and distribution.  </li><li>Attend counter enquiries and issue materials as requested.  </li><li>Conduct purchases for the site on spare parts and consumable items  </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records within EAM system. Assist with invoice verification </li><li>Develop working relationship with vendors and repair shops to efficiently schedule parts delivery and repairs. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each. </li><li>Read technical diagrams and schematics. </li><li>Operate mobile equipment (forklift, Lull, etc.) </li><li>Successful completion of training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva. </li><li>Additional related duties as assigned by supervisor.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>At least two (2) years' experience in parts, inventory, logistics or manufacturing environment. </li><li>Strong verbal and written skills. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of all MS Office, Windows including Excel, Word, and Outlook. </li><li>Valid Driver’s License </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications - What Sets You Apart<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of industrial parts and equipment used in manufacturing. </li><li>Deep understanding of maintenance practices and time required for parts delivery.</li><li>Experience with computerized maintenance management system a plus.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees </li><li>Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment </li><li>Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day</li><li>Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery</li><li>Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.</li></ul><div>This position is not eligible for visa support.EEO Statement Enviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
